NYC DJ Event and Tribute to DJ AM, Roc Raida, and MR. Magic

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 1, 2009 - NYC's Rock and Soul is having a big musical event on December 29th in their midtown store in tribute to the late DJ AM, DJ Roc Raida, and Producer MR. Magic. "These DJs have been shopping at Rock and Soul since the beginning of their careers, and we wanted to honor them at this year's annual event," said owner Sharon Bechor. "Each of them had a substantial impact in the industry, and they're sorely missed."

Some legendary DJs like DJ Scribble, E-Nuff, Pete Rock, and others have offered to say a few words, and showcase their talent in tribute to these influential artists. They too have been shopping at Rock and Soul, one of the very first DJ shops in the world, since early in their careers.

Rock and Soul holds a holiday event every year, and uses it as an opportunity to let high profile and local DJs alike step up and show their talent in front of their peers. The event is free and is held at Rock and Soul at 462 7th Avenue, between 35th and 36th Streets.
