a Texas hospitality corporation has recently purchased the former 122 unit Wyndham Travelodge hotel from Imagine Hospitality, Inc. According to Mr.Amin Noor, President, this historic land mark hotel in North Houston Hospitality Alliance District renamed Venetian Inn & Suites is likely to undergo extensive renovation, transforming it into a Boutique Lifestyle Green Airport hotel with Phase 1 scheduled to be completed by end of December 2009. This independently owned and operated hotel is located only 6 miles from Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport. According to Ms.Judy Williams, Res.Mgr, this hotel has already undergone transformation, exuding European style accommodation to guests from all continents. Further she is hopeful that given the current sluggish economy and dampened airline travel conditions, budget minded guests would prefer to stay longer and save more with non franchised independent but an elegant hotel compared to higher priced branded properties in the 4th largest metropolis in the US. Along with 100% personalized service, environmentally friendly amenities, green travel toiletries and limited number of efficiency studio-suites targeting extended stay business travelers planned for Phase 2 renovation, Venetian Inn & Suites is a likely darling for discriminating international tourists.
A spokes person from Imagine Hospitality, Inc., the seller; Syed R.Mohiuddin, appreciated the total remodeling work undertaken by the new owners and wished them early success in this exciting venture.
