In conjunction with World Town Planning Day 2009, Nextnation Communication Berhad (Nextnation)
Pledge and Plant a Tree Programme is an initiative by MIP in reducing carbon dioxide emission produced by developing a 16 acre as an Urban Forest that will be a resident for over 3000 trees of variant types. The programme which is officiated by Y.Bhg. Tuan Adailami Mohamad Amin, Sepang Municipal Council Deputy President, has received participation from over 150 organizations and individuals.
"Since the development of the industrial age, we have seen the rise in greenhouse gas emission that keeps the earth warm. Today's program is important to all of us in giving back the green to the next generation by planting enough forested regions to absorb the emission," said Lim Kim Seng, Nextnation Group General Manager.
The proposed plan for the park will also included an active zone area for outdoor activities such as flying fox, paintball, mountain biking and abseiling.
