The organic cotton towels will be of 2 kinds: Regular Organic cotton towels (GOTS certified), and Organic cotton towels that are processed & dyed using only natural/herb dyes (GOTS certified).
The herb / natural collection of organic cotton towels have been grown, woven, processed and dyed in India, as per GOTS standards and certified to that.
Common herbs and natural minerals used in processing/dyeing these towels include madder, myrobalan, turmeric, catechu, iron earth, indigo, Pomegranate and onion extracts.
Herb / natural dyed Organic cotton towels and fabrics are the truest form of Organic cotton fabrics and towels, since these are ZERO impact on the environment, soil, human body and the environment, as there is absolutely NO use of any chemicals in these, not even LOW-impact chemicals, as is the case with all other Organic cotton fabrics and towels as per GOTS.
Those ones make use of some approved chemicals (less harmful ones), in permissible quantities, that makes their production and use low impact.
Herb / natural dyed organic cottons are absolutely ZERO-impact.
