Mickey Oliver’s Intensi-T live show will debut Thursday Dec 3, 2009 at Planet Hollywood V Theater at 5:30, with a Red Carpet event starting at 4:15 In front of the theater. The show features Oliver with a bevy of female dancers and special guest star trumpeter/vocalist David Longoria. Longoria has enjoyed many dance and pop music successes and was recently awarded the Hollywood Music Awards trophy for best Instrumental Performer.
Many celebrity actors and performers are expected on the Red Carpet in support of the much anticipated music and variety show.
Mickey Oliver, the show’s producer made a name for himself as one of the original Hot Mix 5 from Chicago’s WBMX, credited for inventing House Music- the mainstay of dance clubs around the world for the past 30 years. His story is intertwined in the live Vegas show as he performs turntable scratching and highlights dance music hits since the 1970s.
The show is built around the success of his syndicated tv show of the same name which went national this year, carried weekly on Dish Network, Direct TV and Resorts & Residences channel across the country. In Las Vegas it airs on ABC after Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday nights.
Longoria is known in the dance music arena from his hit single “Deeper Love” with Cece Peniston which climbed to the top 15 of the US Billboard Dance Music chart. His Latin influenced jazz releases play daily on jazz and adult contemporary stations across the country.
