Toks Ifaturoti is the highly acclaimed designer behind the fabulous bag collection "Tokun Win" of the fashion forward label ‘A Timeless Culture’.
Toks's passion for fashion emerged through her love of travel. “I have travelled to Africa, South East Asia and Europe and became fascinated by their cultures especially their design and use of textures and materials fused with an abundance of traditions”.
From these experiences A Timeless Culture was born and to date has a large following amongst the fashion conscious from across the globe for classic bags, accessories and also jewellery under the label Kaizen Collection.
Since launching the label in 2006, both Collections have grown from strength to strength.
A Timeless Culture’s signature handmade Sisal Collection of eco friendly bags have created a stir in the fashion world as these beautiful bags are made from materials grown in Africa, Brazil and South East Asia using only environmentally friendly processes, hence ensuring they are 100% biodegradable.
Spring/Summer 2010 sees the exciting expansion of the Classic Leather Collection and the launch of a new range of rainbow colour-ways from sunrise yellow to bright berry.
Another staple in the House of A Timeless Culture is the Ethnic Collection of handmade silk and fabric bags. These stylish bags are a wardrobe essential bearing in mind the emergence of the folk trend and have been carried over for the Spring/Summer 2010 using new colour-ways and embellishments.
