South East England's Finest Breweries

With the holiday season fast approaching some of the South East’s finest breweries have entered into the Christmas spirit with new seasonal brews.

The beers and ales feature warming winter spices and festive spicy hops and provide the perfect accompaniment to your festive fayre.

Get festive with Twelve Days- Hook Norton Brewery
Hook Norton has launched its latest brew Twelve Days. The award winning beer will be on sale on draught in pubs until the end of the year.
So lighten the dark nights with a glass of Twelve Days, which was one of four Hook Norton Beers to win a prestigious gold medal in the International Beer Challenge.

Twelve Days, at 5.5 per cent ABV, has the warmth and colour of the perfect Christmas pudding. Said to be beautifully balanced, with a strong malt and nutty flavour which comes from the Maris Otter Pale Ale, Chocolate, Enzymic and Crystal malts the beer is best paired with blue cheese, or a rich Christmas cake or pudding.

Glad Tidings Winter Stout- Chilton Brewery
Chilton Brewery’s traditional, festive beer is now ready and on sale for Christmas. Made with four malts and a combination of warming winter spices this superb black, sweet stout is unique in its style and flavour. Enjoy on a cold winter’s evening by the fire or share amongst your family and guests over the Christmas period.

Winter Warmer - 5.2% Goddards Brewery
Goddards Brewery have produced a really full flavoured ruby-black beer with dried fruit and bitter chocolate malt notes, leading to a rich, sweetish, fruity finish. The new brew promises to warm the cockles of your heart (whatever they are) and is available November to February.

Christmas Ale 2009 Shepherd Neame
Shepherd Neame’s Christmas offering is a glowing amber winter ale with a hoppy fruity nose. Crystalised winter fruits combine with festive spicy hops on a platform of smooth warming alcoholic notes, leaving a refreshing cleansing hop finish.
