Red Letter Days Begins Christmas Radio Campaign
Red Letter Days has revealed that it is beginning the first part of its Christmas radio campaign this weekend on Magic FM. On Saturday we reach that time of the year when radio stations dust down their Christmas library and the likes of Slade, Wizzard, Greg Lake and Band Aid get their only airtime of the year, keeping the PRS cheques flooding in.
Red Letter Days is teaming up with Magic 105.4 for its station-led Christmas promotion which will be anchored around these seasonal classics. Each time a Christmas tune is played listeners will be invited to tell the station which Red Letter Days experience they would like as a Christmas gift by entering the competition hosted here: http://promotions.magic.fm/
For two weeks from Monday 30th November onwards, there will be one winner each day winning £500 of Red Letter Days experiences. Throughout this campaign Red Letter Days will have record trailers playing out – including a 10% listener’s discount – as well as live DJ reads and promo spots.
Following on from this activity Red Letter Days (http://www.redletterdays.co.uk) will be running the second stage of its campaign with an airtime advertising campaign across all 45 of Bauer Radio’s stations including Magic and Kiss in London. With 10% offers and tips regarding price and delivery options, this part of the campaign will run right the way through to Christmas Eve, meaning that in all Red Letter Days’ radio presence will last for about a month.
