Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is a trek of moderate nature, physically…but highly thrilling!! The trek begins with a scenic 45 minutes drive to Phedi from Pokhara, but the actual hiking starts from Dhampus, which takes you to the foot [Base Camp, 4130m] of Mt. Annapurna, one of the most magnificent peaks in the world. The trail takes you through fascinating traditional villages of Nepal’s ethnic communities of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali who will greet you very warmly if you cared to stop for a conversation. They make you feel at home, even at such altitudes. The hike continues through dense rhododendron forest with towering snowy peaks in the background. The Annapurna Base Camp trek will be even more interesting in spring & autumn as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. This wonder trip can be done anytime of the year except during the monsoons [July thru August]. It’s a trek that stirs your natural emotions….giving you lifetime memories.
Day 01: Arrival ----Check In---Free, O/n
Day 02: Full Day sightseeing around Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Pashupati Nath, Bouddha
Day 03: Fly/or Drive to Pokhara & from then on drive to Phedi. The trek starts at Dhampus: [1700m] over night
Day 04: After b/fast, trek from Dovan to Jhinu danda (1780m) over night
Day 05: After b/fast, trek Chomrong {2100m} to sinuwa {2360m) over night
Day 06: After b/fast, trek to Deurali hotel [3230m] over night
Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp. {4130m} over night
Day 08: ABC to Sinuwa. Over night
Day 09: After b/fast, trek to Pothana {1600m] over night
Day 10: After b/fast, trek to Dhampus Phedi & then drive to PKR.
Day 11: Transfer / Fly back to Kathmandu----------Farewell Dinner at Evening, overnight
Day 12: Free Till Departure.
