Test your skills on the fantastic ice rinks at Waterfront Winterland today!
Whether you’re a novice, intermediate or an excellent skater, a go on Waterfront Winterland ice rinks is the ideal way to get into the festive spirit.
The Admiral Rink is perfect for all abilities and ages but if you have little ones (and you’re a novice yourself!) have a go on Rocky’s Rink. Newly installed this year and only for children under 1.35m high, kids can skate safely with one responsible adult. A Rocky the Road Safety Rooster Height-o-Meter is at the entrance to the children’s rink to make sure that your little one is the right size to skate on.
Skate boots are available from children’s size 8 and go up to an adult size 15 and bob skates are available for tiny feet which fit neatly onto shoes. Spectators can view the skaters from an undercover seating area – enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate if skating isn’t your thing!
Buy your ice skating tickets now at or from Swansea Tourist Information Centre on 01792 637300 or at the Skate House. There are lots of sessions to choose from but book early to avoid disappointment.
And don’t forget that groups of 15 people or more to ice skate qualify for a discount.
The Wave are broadcasting live this Saturday 28 November from the Skate House at Waterfront Winterland and on Sunday, 29 November enjoy performances from 4 Strings, a talented string quartet and the Swansea Concert Band– more reasons to get your skates on and get down to the event!
Santa’s Grotto is open 11am – 7pm on weekends and 3.30pm – 7pm Wednesday to Friday.
