Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control today's visit of the African Children's Choir to No.10 Downing Street has been postponed until Tuesday 1 December.
The children were disappointed at not being able to meet Gordon and Sarah Brown and visit the Prime Minister's residence. Equally, everyone at No.10 was disappointed not to see the choir perform.
Happily for all concerned there will be another opportunity to enjoy each other’s company next Tuesday.
Tuesday 1 December marks World AIDS Day and the choir is performing in the evening at the British Red Cross gala in honour of Annie Lennox at the Guildhall.
