Because of the overwhelming response to our Internet and newspaper advertising campaigns our auction site has been flooded with new members. These new members are responding to our free trial offer, however as great as this may seem for us, it provides little help for the new paid members who are bidding against the free trial bidders with the over abundance of free trial bidders. so in order to level the playing field swoopbug has decided to give the new paying members some help and incentives . for the next 30 days any who has purchased bids and has not won an auction will have their bids replaced in their member account. we will continue to do this until either the member has won an auction or the 30 day extension has expired.
The on restriction is the bid package must be at least $100.00 or more. This almost guarantees that at some point the paying member will win an auction. we say almost because there are so many members bidding that we cannot guarantee that you will win,but we sure have given you a better chance. you actually lose nothing until you have become a winner because your bids are being replaced and reused on another auction.
Now while we are at it, lets dispel some of the negative writings about these penny auctions and how they really work
1st if we list a plasma TV for auction and the retail price is $2000.00 and the wholesale price ( the price we pay the manufacturer for the item ) is let's just say $700.00. we are going to set a reserve so that the item cannot sell under what we must pay for it. ( people must understand if we are to continue giving the public an opportunity to win or purchase items at such a huge discount we must be able to cover the minimal basic costs. now if 750 bid on the item at $1.00 each we will have collected $750.00 dollars for the item deducting $700.00 we made 50 bucks, but of 3,000 people bid a $1.00 each we collected $3000.00 dollars for the TV thus our profit is sizable, but people think that's unfair, why ? certainly the member who bid 3 or 4 times at $1.00 each time and now wins has no complaints he just go a $2,000.00 Plasma TV for under $4.00 or if he wanted to purchase it outright for the reserve price he purchased a $2,000.00 TV for $700.00 and got a real bargain.. really the concern isn't so much about how much we make ,who cares as long as we are able to provide you with the opportunity to win it for a huge discount.
Have you ever gone to a carnival or a board walk, and went to one of those games. well you purchase chances to win an item and you either win or you don't I went to one last week and spent six dollars to win 3 .25 cent fish the guy next to e spent the same 6 bucks and won a home theater system both of us walked away happy one happier than the other but it was fun and exciting for the moment.. same principle applies here..
it is a legitimate opportunity to win some real valuable merchandise for just a fraction of the retail cost. seems people are to focused on why it is fair that we make a profit sizable or not. let focus on the reality, we want it for as little as we can get it for.
so please take this opportunity and visit us at www.swoopbug.com and give us a try for free, and then take advantage of our offer to rotect you bids for 30 days
We also offer fund raising auctions for non profit or charitable organizations.. we do not have any deductions for administrative cost or hadnling fees, with the exception of the cost for the item auction off on behalf of the organization all the proceeds go directly to the charity.. more info available at swoopbugsupport@
