Novi, Michigan — Just four weeks after launching ImageMapper Web for its Exterior Portfolio Dream Designer online visualizer, Exterior Portfolio by Crane saw 2.38 million site hits from more than 4,000 users flocking to their site to use the tool. About 44.7 percent of those hits came from visitors who remained on the site for more than 60 minutes, browsing product options and decorating their home images throughout the month of October.
The patent-pending ImageMapper tool, powered by Chameleon Power, allows users the ability to upload an image of their own home and prepare it for online decorating with the Dream Designer program. “Our Dream Designer has seen some amazing results! We’re watching people use it, on average, for 60+ minutes. That’s 60 times the global average! We’re very happy with the traffic and ease of use,” said Brian Workman, Exterior Portfolio by Crane’s interactive marketing manager.
Nearly 2,300 users have decorated their home quickly, spending just four minutes or less on the site. An additional 1,200 users created 31.55 percent of the site’s hits by spending five-29 minutes decorating their home. About 350 users took the time to fine-tune their image, spending more than 45 minutes on the site and creating 49.89 percent of the hits. This figure is up from around 250 users and 43.98 percent in September.
“The steady flow of traffic that visits the visualizer and ImageMapper, and then sticks around for an hour perfecting their project, is a testament to the need for such a tool in the home construction and remodeling industry,” said Dan Dempsey, Chameleon Power CEO. “Even though the construction season is wrapping up as cold weather takes over the northern part of the nation, site traffic remains constant as a whole.”
