Sky Limo Air Charter Donates Round Trip Vacation Valued At $35k

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 25, 2009 – Fort Lauderdale, FL – Sky Limo Corporation, a full service aviation company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, partnered with Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club to generously donate a luxurious vacation package worth $35,000.  Sky Limo provided round-trip private air travel from New York in one of their private jets and accommodations were provided by Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in the Bahamas.  The vacation package raised $21,000, as part of a live auction at the 20th annual Taste of New York, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, on November 12, 2009.  The event took place at Pier 60 at the Chelsea Piers in New York City.
“Taste of New York is Wall Street’s largest annual charity event and I am honored to be a part of it,” says Sky Limo President, Tom Conlan.  “I believe that all successful businesses have a responsibility to do what they can to help such positive causes as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and I’m just doing my part.”
Many one-of-a-kind auction items were up for bid during the silent and live auctions.  Included in Sky Limo’s round-trip package is a 3 day/2 night beachfront stay at the Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club.  This all-inclusive package, for up to 6 guests, also includes complimentary meals and beverages, access to the private Tom Fazio Golf Course during the stay, island transportation and transfers, spa access and treatments for all, gym access with personal training sessions, and usage of all non-motorized water sports and beach equipment.
Originating in 1989, Taste of New York has brought together the movers and shakers of Wall Street’s community. To date, the event has raised more than $28 million and has helped support various programs at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including gene therapy, bone marrow transplantation and immunology.  The event is organized by a committee of more than 60 investment professionals representing nearly every major stock and investment firm in the industry.
