Cooper City, FL – Linxter, Inc. today announces the results of an independent security audit of its cloud messaging solution.
DTS, a consultancy specializing in Microsoft technologies with a focus on development, training, and security, has published their security analysis of Linxter at http://www.dtsnh.com/
After a week of probing the Linxter technology for vulnerabilities, a DTS technology specialist failed to gain the ability to execute any code on Linxter servers. The audit consisted of well established exploits as well as automated hacking tools. Neither attempts to gain control of key servers nor attempts to subvert a development project were successful.
Patrick Hynds, Founder of DTS and a Microsoft Regional Director who specializes in cyber security and performance, oversaw the audit. He commented, “Linxter has done a really good job of following best practices such as heavy duty code obfuscation and built a solid defense in depth especially with their APIs. We looked into reverse engineering the local assemblies and it appears that all are being obfuscated and all static strings encrypted with a professional grade tool.”
Jason Milgram, CEO of Linxter, remarked “Linxter has been designed first and foremost with security in mind. As more and more applications, devices, and systems come online and are able to send and receive data, it is imperative that they have an easy-to-use framework for exchanging data with each other in a secure and reliable manner.”
