Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the Jordan International Investment Conference 2009 brought together leading policy makers and opinion-shapers along with local and international businessmen to serve as a convening place for those interested in taking advantage of investment opportunities Jordan has to offer and to showcase the latest developments in the elements of the investment environment.
ESKADENIA Software, represented by its Executive Director Doha Abdelkhaleq, engaged in a panel discussion titled “Investment Opportunities on the ground, a shared prospective - Technology (IT, Telecom, R&D)”, facilitated by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology Mr. Bassem El Rousan who discussed the key technology trends and investment opportunities in Jordan on the first day of the conference. The session focused on the tremendous potential technology has to contribute to Jordan and the Region’s economy. It also highlighted several potential investment opportunities in the sector.
“Software and IT providers in Jordan are moving into an added value direction through focus on technology, innovation and competence of human resources. This panel represents new dynamics for economy”, said Doha Abdelkhaleq, Executive Director of ESKADENIA Software.
The conference was organised by the Jordan Investment Board, in cooperation with the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation, Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Jordan Chamber of Industry, and the Jordan Businessmen Association, and facilitated by Lawrence & Husseini Consult.
