VotingCentral, Inc. upgraded many features on it's website http://www.votingcentral.com based on active feedback it received from it's current users. This is a much anticipated release that the Voting Central community has been waiting for in quite some time. This upgrade comes right in time for users to start preparing for the 2010 mid-term elections in the US.
Here is a summary of the functionality introduced as part of the latest release.
* All polls are now easily searchable based on tags or keywords. The search functionality can be accessed from the header on http://www.votingcentral.com or from the search page directly at (http://www.votingcentral.com/
* After a user has voted in a poll they get the opportunity to look at the poll results based on multiple perspectives. They can view results by age, gender and location. They can also view the results in a bar graph or a pie chart.
* Being true to the goal of being a polling platform that supports "Social Networking with a Purpose", a new feature in the latest upgrade allows the users in the Voting Central community to Connect with each other and form a circle of friends.
* The latest release also brings about a lot of fun elements on the site. There is now a possibility of winning an iPod Shuffle every month on Voting Central. For every activity that a user performs on the site they accumulate some points.
