Attorney Mark W. Tanner of the Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman, Shepherd, Wohlgelernter, Tanner, Weinstock & Dodig will serve as a faculty member at a December 16, 2009, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA) continuing legal education seminar titled, “Ethics: Doing the Right Thing.” The program, which will be held at the Radisson Plaza – Warwick Hotel in Philadelphia from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., is part of PTLA’s Anniversary Luncheon Lecture Series. The lecture series celebrates 50 years of PTLA legal education.
An accomplished trial lawyer, Tanner also previously secured one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts ever awarded in the courts of Pennsylvania. Last year, he negotiated an $11 million settlement on behalf of his clients in a personal injury matter. For the past two consecutive years, he has been named as one of the Top 10 "Superlawyers"
Tanner’s practice includes medical malpractice, disability insurance claims, insurance bad faith, product liability and class action litigation. He frequently serves as faculty in programs devoted to the development of trial advocacy skills and continuing legal education both locally and nationally.
