Nov. 24, 2009 - PRLog -- Derecktor Shipyards contracted New Age Blast Media to deliver 12 tons of Extra Coarse 10-40 product in January 2007 for blast work on a 250ft. aluminum hulled ferry in dry dock at their Bridgeport, Ct Shipyard. NABM®’s performance was being evaluated vs. garnet and was used at 90 psi. Profile of 2.5-3.0 was deemed on target for re-coating.  Finish was SP10.

Derecktor’s Blast Supervisor was impressed by the performance of New Age Blast Media in all areas of comparison to garnet. The key criteria for comparison were:
