Arizona Science Center, the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa and Gila River Indian Community partner together to bring you a FREE cultural heritage and scientific exploration under the stars!

It’s your Arizona - discover the culture of the Pima & Maricopa tribes, see the night sky during The Geminids meteor shower and enjoy an evening of storytelling, artisans and science while exploring the connection between native tribal communities and the night sky.

· Listen to celebrated stories from the ancient cultures of the Pima and Maricopa tribes, told by Tim Terry, honored Storytelling and Song Program host
· Take a tour of the night sky, led by Arizona Science Center Dorrance Planetarium staff
· Check out the night sky through telescopes provided by the East Valley Astronomy Club
· Discover the ancient connections  between stars and local tribes
· Explore hands-on astronomy activities
· Interact with cultural artisans as they share their native arts and crafts
