Juicy Couture & Paper Magazine honor NYU Student Photographer
Pam and I wanted to tell you about our cool photo competition held by Juicy and Paper Magazine. The contest was called, "Shoot Your Style", and was a competition for NYU’s Tisch School of Arts students* Ok, there were so many photographs entered it took us 3 episodes of Gossip Girls to choose our winner! So congratulations!
To celebrate Max’s win and show off his original photographs we held a party at our Juicy Couture store on Bleecker Street in New York.
Here’s some stuff about Max...
Max’s Hungarian and Russian background influence his visions and give him a very continental viewpoint. He works closely with his collaborator and muse-manqué Leah Hennessey, creating pataphyisical realist dream-scapes, turning beautiful people into chimeras. Max is inspired by Federico Fellini, Lieko Shiga, Guy Bourdin, and Juergen Telle. He says when he was young he wanted to be a novelist but after picking up a camera at the age of 13, he knew that photography was his future.
