When a home building corporation purchased property from a previous developer the property had several large concrete foundations. The concrete foundations could not be incorporated into the new building designs so the builder opted to have them demolished and removed. They had to look no further than the experts at Dengler Demolition. The project had to be completed with minimal impact on the environment and minimal disturbance to the nearby occupied buildings. Crushing the concrete was out of the question because of the proximity to the occupied structures. Dengler forces went old school on the concrete foundations by employing a wrecking ball which was used to bring the concrete down to more managable size so that a mechanical densifier could be used. The rebar was removed from the concrete and sent to a local steel recycling center. The concrete was loaded on trucks and hauled to Denglers recycling center for further crushing and reuse as road base. This project achieved a 100% recycling rate. None of the material was taken to a landfill, everything was recycled and reused with minimal or no impact on the environment.
