Living Color Aquariums builds Central America's first modern Public Aquarium

Living Color Enterprises has recently designed and built the 35,000 gal Nais Aquarium in Guatemala City. There are 15 impressive aquariums inside the facility all maintained by the sophisticated Life Support System built by Living Color.

PRLog - Nov. 23, 2009 - Living Color Enterprises is proud to announce the completion of the largest FRP Aquarium in the world located in Guatamala City, Guatamala. The Nais Aquarium Restaurant is home to this technological gem that astonishes the huge crowds daily with its intricacies and beauty. The Nais Aquarium Restaurant includes a group of 15 aquariums in the main dining, lounge and family areas of the restaurant. The main aquarium exhibit  measures 40ft x 20ft x 7ft high and contains 30,000 gallons of salt water. This incredible habitat is home to over 450 fish representing 38 exotic species. This aquarium showcases specimens which include sharks, stingrays and moray eels.

Customers, while dining at the restaurant can immerse themselves in the underwater aquatic world. Restaurant guests can also watch divers feed the fish, or take a "Back Stage Tour" to learn about the impressive Life Support System and many marine species.

The  Life Support System was designed, fabricated and installed by Living Color Enterprises Inc. This amazing aquarium, includes a Marine Species Hospital, Quarantine Tanks, Biology Lab and Nutritional Support Center. A team of marine biologists, aquaculturalists and aquarium technicians work 24 hours a day 365 days a year to maintain the aquariums. The three water filtration systems of the Nais Aquarium make it possible to maintain the life cycle of all saltwater species, keeping it clean and free of impurities, just as in their natural habitat.

Two dazzling lighting systems have been installed in the aquariums and throughout the restaurant and lounge of the Nais Aquarium. In a further effort to keep the fish environment natural, the lighting system in the aquariums has a GPS device that adjusts the light in accordance with sun and moon movement to simulate natural light at all times.
