(San Diego)-Eric Rice, President of Boom Media is offering all veterans and or military personnel an opportunity that the local San Diego community isn't. Eric Rice is offering the military a chance to be a business owner. CEO David Turner, former Marine, and Rice are currently running an incubator program that allows its participants the opportunity to learn how to "crawl before they walk" as Rice says. The Incubator, run by Rice and his other company BFC Ventures, has a four step approach that offers the Incubator participant the chance to make money, learn about business, formulate a business plan (with professional help), solve common business problems, market and sell. "We are humbled to be able to give back to the soldiers that are fighting for us every day. Most of these men and women are handed manual labor jobs, if any at all, when they get back. We want to help them use the things they have learned to make themselves financially fit for life through business" states Rice.
Eric Rice and Boom Media are currently running social media campaigns for politicians, business and entertainers all around the country. They provide an online strategy that helps their clients create more velocity in their current perspective campaigns. Rice says, "In order for a business owner to be successful, he or she must know how to market and sell." Rice is offering a job, to veterans in San Diego, as an intro to his program for entrepreneurs. "The last thing we want is for our troops to come home and struggle, we want to give them a job to get their business minds in shape" states Turner. These veterans will be paid for their time in both wages and business education. Every day the soldiers will be given a course on the different stages of business development from the entrepreneurs at Boom Media after their shift is complete along with workshops given by an impressive menu of business authors.
