World’s Smallest 3G Router Brings Live Video Surveillance to Isolated Areas and Moving Vehicles

Initially targeted at the IP video surveillance market, the new AutoMonitor Jump weighs only 50 grams and measures 69 mm x 32 mm x 24 mm. It is capable of transforming any IP CCTV camera into a wireless mobile surveillance camera that can be mounted in isolated locations or moving vehicles.

AutoMonitor Jump also enables any Ethernet-based equipment to connect and exchange information over wireless 3G networks and contains a VPN controller capable of establishing transparent peer-to-peer connections from behind firewalls.

The product is compatible with virtually any 3G or HSDPA/HSUPA USB modem and can also operate over the Thuraya satellite network. It is a transparent hardware solution that requires no software installation.

Its “virtual cable” mode allows two AutoMonitor Jump routers to simulate a direct Ethernet cable, transparently connecting two locations anywhere in the world over 3G networks, satellite or the Internet. IP cameras or any other equipment that normally works on a local network can now be used remotely, in isolated locations or in motion, on land or at sea. AutoMonitor Jump secures all “virtual cable” connections with end-to-end encryption.
