After performing for three standing room only audiences at the Rainbow Theater last Sunday, veteran Las Vegas magician Rob Rasner has agreed to stay one more week in Beijing for four final children shows this coming Sunday, November 29th at the Rainbow Theatre in Haidian. Tickets are $300 RMB but the China Trade Commission has agreed to donate 300 tickets (100 for each show) to children ages 3-7 and one parent who claims them by email at PromoReservations@

Last Sunday's show was covered by Beijing TV whose cameraman left scratching his head in wonder. Where did that bowling ball come from? And how did Rasner remove the socks of someone 30 feet away from him? Rasner performed for a full hour and awed the crowd with some two dozen tricks that fascinated both the kids and their parents. This Sunday Rasner promises a special surprise - a new trick that even most fellow magicians claim is impossible. Rasner who appears regularly at the Magic Castle in Vegas and Los Angeles has appeared on late night television, MTV, Good Morning America, and has awed crowds since 2002 when he won the Houdini Award. Variety once called Rasner "the next David Copperfield"
Rasner perfomed an extra special show for adults and university students after the children all went home. The crowd was left speechless when Rasner burned a $100 RMB note signed by volunteer from the audience - in plain view, only to have it reappear intact in a sealed envelope less than a minute later!
Shows this Sunday will start promptly at 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm and 6:30pm. Late arrivals will not be admitted, so plan to claim your seat at least 30 minutes before showtime, and meet the Rainbow Players. Your children will have an absolute blast as they will particpate in more than half of the tricks. One word of warning however, Rasner is close friends with Santa Claus who has asked him to make all the bad little girls and boys of Beijing disappear! ;)
