Often times Thanksgiving is a cause of stress rather than a time of celebration. With many families struggling with finances this holiday season, one local business found a way to help. On November 20th, fourteen children from Weld County’s Boys and Girls Club joined the doctors and staff of Solecki Chiropractic for a full turkey dinner. Dr. Dave Solecki and his staff donated and prepared all the food for the kids. Not only did the children in attendance receive dinner, but local children’s author Holly Bea-Weaver donated a copy of her new book, “Lucy Goose Goes to Texas” to each child.
“The dinner was a huge success. The kids had a great time reading their new books and were very thankful for the turkey dinner. It was a great opportunity to give back to the community by helping local kids. I hope to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Weld County for more events in the future,” stated Dr. Solecki when asked how the event turned out.
Solecki Chiropractic and Acupuncture is often involved in philanthropic events, donating their time and services to help their community.
