Independent Artist Taylor Bright Hits Billboard Top 50
Philadelphia teen rock / pop sensation Taylor Bright celebrates her entry into the Billboard main charts this week with her debut single ‘Striped Socks’ hitting the Billboard Dance Club Play Top 50, one of the youngest artists to achieve such an accolade.
The self penned song was remixed by #1 US DJ Mike Rizzo (who recently remixed Britney’s ‘3’, Akon’s ‘Right Now’ and Lindsey Lohan’s ‘Bossy’), with supporting mixes from Albert Castillo, Jamie J Sanchez and Mr Mig and the track has been receiving club spins across the US and Europe.
The chart position follows a successful recent US tour on the Camplified circuit, which has helped Taylor gain an extensive following of fans worldwide
Striped Socks is also currently receiving radio play in the US, Canada and France, and Taylor takes her music on tour to the UK in January 2010 supported by UK TV/Radio appearances.
Taylor is currently in the studio writing and recording her debut album due for release in early 2010.
