.vantronix Router ZL1 for HP ProCurve Switches

Nov. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- .vantronix | secure systems GmbH, a vendor of high-end security appliances, today launched its Router ZL1 product, a high-end routing solution that integrates with the HP ProCurve Open Network Ecosystem (HP ProCurve ONE). .vantronix developed an optimized enterprise-class secure routing appliance as a switch module within the HP ProCurve ONE program.
The .vantronix router solution provides a robust routing platform for HP chassis–based switches. With capabilities such as BGP and virtual routing and forwarding (VRF Lite), it provides effective and efficient routing capabilities at the edge of the network. This capability can be easily upgraded to a fully functional firewall capability delivering a robust security solution at the network’s interconnection.
The solution delivers BGP with multiple full feeds and VRF routing capabilities for edge routing with up to 256 routing domains. It includes integration of OSPF and BGP with fully separated routing domains and full policy-based routing (PBR) using a packet filter classification engine. You can use the routing module in any empty slot of the HP ProCurve 8200/5400zl switch series, even with multiple modules in a single switch.
