PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 22, 2009 - Spesh K is an elite emcee equipped with intricate flows, dynamic rhyme schemes, and a knack for rocking the crowd. Spesh K thrives during a live atmosphere. Known for his witty punch lines, topical tracks, and energetic live shows, Spesh K is constantly putting in work. He has shared the stage with artists such as Wu Tang’s Ghostface Killah, Cappadonna, Ludacris, The Game, Lupe Fiasco, Choclair, Classified, Special Ed, K'naan, and more. Six albums deep, far from a rookie, Spesh K has garnered a great deal of national media coverage via video & radio play.

Spesh K "Media Coverage" was released in November 2006 by Urbnet/Universal, with the singles Start a New Day & Retirement Days (both Directed by Davin Black). His follow up release "The Main Event" exposed the artists growth and maturity. "The Main Event" was recorded entirely in Montreal, and features appearances by Sadat X (from Brand Nubian), Moka Only, Mic Boyd, Copy write, and more. Its title track earned Spesh, along with Hotbox & DJ Y Rush an East Coast Music Award (ECMA) in 2009 for hip hop single of the year.

Spesh has performed in Montreal (Under Pressure), New York, Vermont (US Open Snowboarding), Cincinnati, Indiana, St. John’s, Charlottetown, Belleville, Hamilton, Milton, Picton, Barrie, Ottawa, London, Toronto (Manifesto), and Kingston finally breaking out as an international star rather than a local artist.
