More than 27,000 green building professionals traveled to Phoenix, Arizona last week for the annual Greenbuild Conference sponsored by the US Green Building Council. They were the first to see the current issue of Greensource Magazine, in which Mobile Solar Power System™ were featured as “Editor’s Product Picks.”
“It’s an honor to be recognized by construction industry leaders as one of the top greenbuilding products on the market,” says Norris Lozano, CEO of Pure Power. “Having been involved in numerous successful LEED projects, we know that every point counts, but more importantly, every choice matters in reducing the carbon footprint of a project. Using mobile solar power creates a bold visual statement, as well as real benefits on the job site and within surrounding communities.”
Scott Chaplan, Pure Power’s Executive Chair concurs, saying, “Contractors we talk to want to avoid using noisy, dirty diesel generators. Not only does diesel fuel produce toxic particulate matter and 40 carcinogens in its exhaust, but many diesel generators can produce up to a ton of carbon dioxide or more each day.”
As a clean alternative to diesel generators, Mobile Solar Power Systems are quiet, produce no emissions, use the sun for fuel, and require no maintenance by contractors (such as oil changes and tune-ups). Pure Power has 5 models available for various sized construction and rehab sites, including the new S48T, a 600-Amp/72 kilowatt mobile solar generator.
