Multi-World Technologies, LLC today announced the launch of its new and intensive web training program "Mastering the new Web in the Digital World".
The program's ambitious objective is to take the complexity and fears out of website design and administration, and train 'from scratch' website creators and website administrators, using the very popular Joomla! content management system. Initially launched in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, the company's intent is to reach every major city in the USA and Canada by the end of 2011.
Everything anyone always wanted to know about starting and running a website, but didn't know who to ask! From understanding the basics, developing and administering their website to promoting it, this course teaches the practical techniques for business-oriented websites. This course fills in knowledge gaps that website vendors don’t tell anyone and that traditional computer courses won’t address.
Multi-World Technologies, LLC's use and vulgarization of a content management system allows anyone without a technical background or knowledge, to take the course. The new program is suitable for anyone who has experience of simply using a computer and surfing the Internet, complete beginners to Web design, anyone considering a career in web development, or tasked with building a company's internet/intranet pages, or maintaining and upgrading a current web site, Web Professionals looking to save time by learning from Joomla! experts. Web designers or developers, agencies and companies looking for people with a wide range of skills, will benefit from the program, and as a result will develop very marketable skills.
The program is intensive, hands-on and full of workshops, which means that students are able to access the Internet during all classes, from a dedicated computer. The training is very personalized with small classes of five students maximum, and is given in high-tech boardroom style classrooms.

At Course Completion, students will understand the new website creation methodologies using the Joomla! content management system, register a domain name, select and manage their own website hosting, manage emails, create a complete website (install the Joomla! content management system), understand the website layout customization and customize their website, administer their Joomla! website like any webmaster would (update menus, add any content), upgrade and add functionality to their website (e-commerce, blogs, social networking, etc…), backup and restore their website.
