DALLAS – Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training, has purchased a building for its new service center in Sweetwater, Texas. The new office, located at 1301 Hailey St., is set for grand opening in March 2010.
Focusing on wind energy and general industry, Shermco’s Sweetwater office will officially begin operations in early 2010. The 5,000 sq. foot facility will carry all critical spare parts for wind generators and provide safety and technical training for the area.
“There are several power plants, industrial facilities and wind energy operations that can benefit from the Sweetwater facility,” said Scott Meador, Shermco vice president. “Our expansion into Sweetwater will allow us to provide service to several key accounts.”
