Effective Agile Development LLC today announced the development of a new course for software development teams wanting to adopt the Scrum Product Development method using the upcoming Visual Studio (VS) 2010 and Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010.
The new course to be available Q1 2010 will be titled "Scrum Development for Teams using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server 2010".
Rod Claar, Principal Consultant of Effective Agile Development said, " Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server 2010 deliver the tools for a distributed team to work on a complex project or multiple projects simultaneously. Many organizations are moving to an agile development framework with the aim of delivering business value quicker so that they can be more competitive. This course will provide teams with the Scrum training they need in a VS/TFS 2010 environment."
This 5-day hands-on training course creates a simulated whole team experience for implementing the guiding principles and practices of agile using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. This course provides the needed bridge between agile practices and real world implementation using VS/TFS 2010.
Claar went on to say, "While this course will be offered as an open-enrollment public course, its real power and potential will be reached when enterprises hold private whole-team training sessions."
