The team at Orthopedic Institute is hosting a Thanksgiving kick off November 25 as they start the holiday and football filled weekend with the Bedlam Battle Benefit n Bar-B-Q. Dr. Houshang Seradge said the event will feature games, door prizes and food at noon as employees finish their work week and start the holiday season. The event is a way for Orthopedic Institute to celebrate with the surrounding community, referring physicians and it's employees. It is also a way to help community causes.
Three groups are slated to benefit from the event November 25. Southeast High School Band will bring a drumline and will accept donations to fund upcoming contests and trips. All through the next week, Orthopedic Institute will collect non-perishable food items for the Regional Foodbank. The goal will be to deliver at least 600 cans to the Foodbank by November 30. Finally, The Foundation for Orthopedic Health will have several raffle items available at the event to help them raise funds for their programs.
Orthopedic Institute is proud to be able to help organizations in our area through these and other efforts.
