The Village Bakery on Kent Island officially opened on November 13 and is an extension of the company’s restaurant and bakery headquarters in Chestertown, MD. The new Kent Island Village Bakery is located at 1533 Postal Road in Chester, MD at the Little Chester Plaza Shopping Center. Menu items at the Village Bakery are made with the best quality ingredients in all of their products.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, the Village Bakery will be offering quality pies, breads, rolls, cakes, and desserts for the holiday. The homemade baked goods are an ideal complement to any Thanksgiving feast and the variety of flavors will satisfy any family. Menu items at the Village Bakery are made using the best quality local ingredients and the Village Bakery team prides itself on providing superior service to all customers and giving a keen attention to detail in every menu item.
Pies, cakes, breads, desserts, and more can be special ordered for the Thanksgiving holiday and the Bakery’s shelves will be stocked for those who need a last minute addition to the meal. Orders can be placed by calling 410.643.4092 and the Village Bakery invites locals or travelers passing through Kent Island to stop into the bakery to check out the baked goods selection. The Village Bakery on Kent Island is open Tuesday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Village Bakery will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Freshly baked pies for Thanksgiving can be ordered in a variety of flavors including: Apple, Apple Caramel, Walnut, Blueberry, Chocolate Silk Pie, Coconut Cream, Coconut Custard, Cherry, Mincemeat, Peach, Pecan, Chocolate-Chunk Pecan, Pumpkin, Red Raspberry, and Sweet Potato. Dinner rolls are the perfect complement to any turkey dinner and the Village Bakery will have White and Honey Cracked Wheat dinner rolls. A delightful Pumpkin Roll will be available to complement any Thanksgiving meal. Available Cheesecakes include: 6” or 9” Plain Cheesecake or a 6” Pumpkin Cheesecake.
