Toll Brothers’ communities in Bucks County are hosting a Holiday Food Drive to benefit Philabundance.  Drop off non-perishable food donations at participating communities between November 21st and December 31st to help Philabundance provide food for approximately 65,000 people per week.  Suggested donations include canned fruits and vegetables, breakfast cereal or hot cereal, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, canned pork and beans/baked beans, canned pasta/beef ravioli, and creamy peanut butter.

“Toll Brothers is pleased to host this food drive and support our local community,” said Greg LaGreca, Toll Brothers Division Vice President.  “We’re hopeful this event will make a difference in the lives of our neighbors who need assistance,” he added.

Philabundance is a nonprofit organization fighting hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley.  Currently serving 10 counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Philabundance was founded in 1984 and is the region’s largest food bank and food rescue organization.  Philabundance provides a full plate of services to over 600 agencies operating Food Cupboards that help the needy.  In 2008, Philabundance distributed 17 million pounds of food in the Delaware Valley.

Home buyers are invited to visit Toll Brothers’ decorated model homes at all Bucks County communities during the Holiday Food Drive.  Participating communities include: Chapman’s Corner, Dutchess Farm Estates, and Newtown Walk in Newtown; Spring Valley Estates in Doylestown; Villages at Buckingham in Furlong; and Upper Mountain Estates in New Hope.  For more information on Toll Brothers’ Holiday Food Drive, please call Greg LaGreca at 215-504-5300.  For locations, directions, and information, visit http://TollBrothers.com/Pennsylvania.
