Global Coach Center is Introducing a Comprehensive On-Line Cross-Cultural Training on Russia

A new initiative of making Cross-Cultural Training available on-line has started with the first course on Russia, “Welcome to Russia”. Global Coach Center, an expatriate and cross-cultural coaching firm, is introducing this on-line course.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 20, 2009 -
Global Coach Center is making its in-person cross-cultural training on Russia available on-line as a self-paced course. The course consists of video, audio, and documents and blends within it the traditional cross-cultural training approach with co-active coaching, NLP, and systems integration.

Margarita Gokun Silver - a global co-active coach, a veteran expat, and the founder of the Global Coach Center, has started providing cross-cultural training to expatriates when she realized that her coaching clients fared a lot better in the way they handled living and working in Russia if they had the benefit of a cross-cultural training.

The “Welcome to Russia” course has until now only been available through in-person training.  However, due to increasing demand and ability to reach more people by making it available and affordable, Margarita has now created an on-line version of the training.

From the on-line course participants will get:

•   An exclusive and unique set of tools for handling frustrations and managing culture shock
•   Information on the National Culture of Russia
•   Information on the Corporate Culture of Russia
•   Assessment tool to assess their own cultural preferences and learn their cultural blueprint
•   Assessment tool to compare their cultural blueprint with the cultural blueprint of the majority of people in Russia
•   Coaching tools and exercises to close, navigate or negotiate the gap between their own cultural preferences and the cultural preferences of the majority of people in Russia
•   A bonus chapter with information that has never been seen before
•   Self-paced schedule and world-wide accessibility

"As someone, who was born in Russia and lived most of my adult life in the West, I know the major differences and the day-to-day issues that plague the expatriate experience in Russia.  This is why I created this course and this is why I'd like to make it available to as many Russian expats as possible". Said Margarita Gokun Silver, founder of Global Coach Center.
