Petlifestyleonline (PLO) is an online directory designed for the end user (Merchants, distributors, wholesalers, retailers). Our user-friendly layout and listing page is detailed with company information and offers our merchants an admin panel to edit their listings.

The website offers the merchant the ability to post his company name, address, location (with a printable map), phone number and description. Members throughout the site can send reviews to other merchants(members) of the site. Recently we have added an exciting feature which allows a merchant to display promotions or ads with pictures and description.

Our focus is success and results for our Members. PLO is constantly adding new features to keep the site and our merchants with the latest capabilities of online exposure.

How did you get started in this business?
Being in the IT industry for over 10 years, we have always been in marketing and sales and realize the urgent need for informative websites that not only have all the information in one place but also have a user friendly layout that allows the user to browse with out hesitation. The pet industry has always been a passion of ours and the urgent need for a well designed directory site targeted for only the pet industry has been long needed and at the moment proven to be appreciated by the merchants.

As a pet business owner, how can I benefit from becoming a member of your site?
Along with the unlimited efforts our team provides in obtaining targeted traffic to the website allowing a merchant to expose his company to a targeted audience, a merchant can also control the results his company displays in by adding/editing his company keywords accessible to him in the admin panel. In detail, a merchant can setup his own keywords that he wishes to appear on the result page. Therefore a merchant that makes pet food can then control his keywords to appear in (cookies, holistic food, diet food, natural food…). This keyword feature defines your business and increases your sales conversions since the audience directed to your listing is the exact audience you looking for. Expect to increase your sales!

How can I benefit as a pet parent?
As a pet parent myself, I find myself looking for information on local merchants and looking for trusted online merchants that I can get items that I may not find locally. By searching through our site you can narrow your search to your local area. You can also read the articles we have on the site that are written up weakly. We currently are working with many PET PROFESSIONALS to provide free information to our surfers. As a pet owner we want the site to be a trusted source you use to cater to your furry loved one! All the information to a surfer is free.

What geographic regions do you cover?
At the moment our targeted areas are Canada and United States. We have been receiving a big demand from Europe and Asia therefore we are starting to create a client list for those 2 countries as well.

What are your goals for the site?
Our goal has always been the same since the beginning. We are to be the most populated directory, informative website and most user-friendly for the end user. We want to provide merchants with targeted traffic from search engines and other sources. The goal is simple…be the number one PET DIRECTORY online. Although we set the goals high, our team is conquering our challenges at an impressive pace!
Our goal at the end is to use many different ways of online marketing strategies including image search, local search and industry-specific engines.

How do you drive traffic to the businesses that are members of your site?
The traffic that is provided to the merchants on our website is targeted “PET” related traffic. We are climbing in Google at a steady pace, we have “Social Network” traffic that is always very steady and converts extremely well. We do also practice more “traditional” marketing campaigns with banner exchanges, email campaigns and more. Our traffic is 85% online sources.

It looks like you plan to have a article library as well. What are some of the categories for articles?
PLO writes about pets, different animals and off course about the industry itself.
Some of the categories are: dogs, cats ,breeders , pet services, pet accessories, pet food, pet beds etc.
