Earlier this month, Jason Manning, CEO of The Manning Group, LLC announced his unique approach to raising capital to further fund his company through the sell of his new book, "Save My Company, Buy This Book". Now he has added an interesting twist to reach his sales goal of 50,000 copies by the end of the year. He announced late Thursday afternoon that if he reaches 50,000 copies by December 20, 2009, he will personally hand deliver a $10,000 check to three lucky customers before Christmas as a thank you. For every copy over 50,000 sold between now and the end of the year, he will use an additional $1.00 to start a fund that will go toward helping other start-up companies that are in need of capital.
