Atlona Technologies adds to their Switcher Line with the 1x16 HDMI 1.3 Distribution Amplifier

Atlona Technology, a solutions based manufacturer of Audio Video technology, has consistently kept up to date with the latest HDMI needs in the AV industry.  To further assisting these demands, Atlona has once again added to their HDMI Switcher line with the all new AT-HD-V116.  The AT-HD-V116 is a high performance 1x16 HDMI 1.3 Distribution Amplifier designed to work as a splitter for any HD video application.  With a single HDMI 1.3 Input and boasting 16 HDMI 1.3 Outputs, this unit is capable of splitting any High Definition signal from one source to sixteen separate displays with compatible HDMI inputs at the same time.

Atlona’s AT-HD-V116 will allow any Digital video source, with an HDMI output (such as: DVD, Satellite, Cable Box, PC, Xbox360, PS3 and more) to connect to a maximum of sixteen simultaneous HD displays.  With the added HDMI1.3 support, there are many other attributes such as an increased single-link bandwidth.  The increased bandwidth enables support for Dolby TrueHD (5.1/7.1/10.1 Ch) audio as well as a higher display resolution and deeper color depth for all sixteen HD displays.  Atlona’s 1x16 HDMI 1.3 Distribution Amplifier has the ability to send HD  signal great distances at resolutions up to up to 1080p or 1920x1200 and data rates up to 6.75Gps, with no signal or picture degradation.  Along with being HDCP compliant and containing a supported EDID function, this unit is also DVI compliant by simply using an HDMI to DVI adapter.
