Raleigh, NC –  The Ivy Community Service Foundation of Cary, Inc. (ICSF) and the Sigma Tau Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Cary, North Carolina will present the Women at Work Networking Retreat:  “Embrace the Strength and Power of Connection” at the Marriott Research Triangle Park on Saturday, November 21, 2009.  

The Women at Work Networking Retreat is a half-day professional development workshop designed for female entrepreneurs, executives and women seeking to develop and strengthen their networking skills, better understand the importance of mental and emotional health and its relation to career advancement and learn best practices for success.

Olalah Njenga, YellowWood Group CEO and kick-off speaker at 10:00am on “The New Generation of Marketing Online" said, "Understanding how to use networking and online marketing is vital to the success business owners and entrepreneurs want to achieve.  Social media and other methods of online marketing can be a very powerful force if used correctly in a well-balanced marketing mix.  The key is in having a marketing mix that makes sense for your business goals. The retreat includes speakers and an opportunity for participants to meet with female executives in their industry in a roundtable discussion. The day will wrap up with a luncheon keynote address by Founder/CEO of Strebor Books and NY Times Best Selling Author, Zane.
