Nov. 19, 2009 - PRLog -- The YWCA Dayton has kicked off its annual Holiday Wish List program. The Wish List program seeks donations of new toys and clothing for children in the YWCA's Domestic Violence Shelter and the families of recently sheltered women who are struggling to rebuild their lives.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys and clothing can be delivered to the YWCA Dayton administrative offices at 141 W. Third St. (Third and Wilkinson), Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm beginning November 23 through December 18. Monetary donations are always welcome and checks payable to YWCA Dayton can be mailed to 141 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45402.

Toys collected for the Wish List program continue to create smiles throughout the year. Wish List donations provide a cuddly stuffed animal for a frightened child arriving at the shelter; birthday presents for sheltered children on their special day; and toys for shelter playrooms. To receive a copy of the YWCA Dayton Wish List or for further information, please call Angie Hoschouer at 461-5550, ext. 179 or visit the YWCA Dayton website at ywcadayton.org.
