Nov. 19, 2009 - PRLog -- SOMETHING FOR NOTHING WEBSITES RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITIES!

ISWISE donates 18% of the commissions from its websites www.4u2shop.co.uk and www.4u2travel.co.uk to five worthy charities. The company’s first donation payment of £86.86 has just been made, and this really is “money for nothing” as the web user donates to charity effortlessly without paying an extra penny for their online purchases!
The two websites were launched earlier this year; users click on links to a wide range of online shops and travel websites including many big names such as Amazon, John Lewis, M&S, Tesco, Expedia, Last Minute, British Airways etc.  ISWISE is affiliated to these stores so in return for bringing traffic from 4u2travel and 4u2shop to their sites, the businesses pay a commission and ISWISE passes on 18% of the commission generated to five charities.
www.4u2shop.co.uk is particularly useful at this time of year as it is a great way to go Christmas Shopping from the comfort of your own home and support charities every time you shop! The site features a special Christmas gifts section with lots of innovative gift ideas and charity gift shops as well as direct links to the Christmas sections of the major online stores like M&S and John Lewis.
For regular internet shoppers ISWISE will build a dedicated web page featuring all your regular online shops in one easy to use interface to your own specifications – and in most cases this will be free of charge to the user!
The charities that benefit are Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital, Cancer Research UK, The MS Society, County Air Ambulance and Just a Drop (Water aid).
“Our vision is to increase the level of business going through the sites enabling a higher proportion of commission to be donated to the charities – we would love to get to a stage where we can donate at least 50% “ commented Ian Wiseman, Senior Partner at ISWISE.
The main benefactor (10% of commission) is the Alex Ross Star Tribute Fund, part of the Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal for Bristol Children’s Hospital. “Alex, daughter of family friends Pete and Sue Ross, died aged just 16 despite the best efforts of the wonderful team at the hospital. The whole idea of being able to generate money for nothing and pass some of it on to such a good cause seemed to make perfect sense” said Ian. The other charities each currently receive 2% of commission received.
