This is the third year that the Rotary Club of North Fort Myers has made a donation to the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy. The school plans to use the funds to help purchase educational materials and to upgrade the school’s technology.
The Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy (http://www.goodwilllifeacademy.org) is a Lee County Charter School which serves middle- and high-school age students with developmental disabilities. The school provides multi-sensory, innovative, and individualized programs designed to help these students make a successful transition into post-school adult living. L.I.F.E. Academy curriculum focuses on functional academics, daily life skills, and vocational/workforce training. The school is one of many programs and services provided by Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. (http://www.goodwillswfl.org).
