CARY, N.C. – Strategic Guru, a Triangle-based marketing and communications agency, has been recognized as a Silver Award winner in the 5th Annual International Davey Awards sponsored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.
The award was given for a print advertisement created for Gingerbread LittleVersity, a group of three Fuquay Varina-based childcare and preschool centers. In order to communicate the notion that Gingerbread LittleVersity provides quality infant and childcare second only to a mother’s, Strategic Guru implemented a print advertisement showing an image of one of the owners of the firm with her child.

The Davey Awards are an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials for small firms with less than $25 million in annual billings. Judging is provided by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA), an invitation-only group made up of executives and creative professionals from some of the most recognizable firms in media today.
