The First Tee of The Palm Beaches sets up its new home at Dyer Park, on Haverhill RD in West Palm Beach. The First Tee's mission is to impact the lives of young people living in the West Palm Beach area, including those with special needs, by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

Golf is the tool by which a developmental curriculum called a “Life Skills Experience” and a foundation of The First Tee Nine Core Values™ is introduced to boys and girls  ages 9 and up. Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment are focused on throughout 5 levels of participation and certification.

Executive Director and PGA Professional Craig Watson along with Program Director and PGA Certified Instructor Guy Ashley head a staff of instructors and volunteers with extensive experience and training for delivering an enjoyable, valuable and safe program. Registration has begun for after school and weekend classes starting in January at The Michael B. Finnegan Learning Center located at Dyer Park. Until the new website is ready for on-line registration please call 561-842-0066 for schedules and costs. Upon request, families may apply for scholarships.
