Nov. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX– Frame Destination Inc. announces the GalleryPouch™ Gold, a premium bubble bag designed for protecting artwork as well as other items. GalleryPouch™ Gold premium bubble bags are made from transparent, heavyweight laminated 3/16 inch polyethylene bubble. Unlike other rolled bubble products, there are no exposed bubbles, which protects the bubble by making it difficult to pop. Both sides of the product are smooth, making it easy to slip in artwork and pack it for shipping or other transport.

GalleryPouch™ Gold is available in two options: GalleryPouch™ Gold w/ Velcro® and GalleryPouch™ Gold w/ Flap. GalleryPouch™ Gold w/ Velcro® premium bubble bags have an adjustable self-adhesive Velcro® sealing option. This option allows the customer to custom-tailor the height of the bag. Simply remove the adhesive backing from the Velcro® strip after placing artwork or item in the bag, and then adhere the Velcro® to the front of the bag. GalleryPouch™ Gold w/ Flap is identical to GalleryPouch™ Gold w/ Velcro®, but does not have a Velcro® closure. Customers can easily seal the bag with packing tape or other fastener.

GalleryPouch™ Gold is the brainchild of photographer, author and consultant Andrew Darlow.  Darlow says "After completing a printing project for a client comprised of ten 40x40-inch stretched canvas prints, I discovered it was a nightmare to properly protect the work for shipping. I ended up using 48-inch-wide bubble material with a lot of packing tape, which concerned me due to the fragility of the canvas. I knew there must be a better way, so I contacted Frame Destination and asked if they could produce large, custom-sized bubble bags that were re-sealable. After many e-mails, phone calls and prototypes, GalleryPouch™ Gold was born. And it came just in time. While we were developing the final product, I had two exhibitions of large photographs printed on canvas, including some as large as 38x70 inches in size. Frame Destination created a custom bubble bag for every one, greatly cutting down on the time needed to pack up the prints for transport. Having each print in a see-through bag also made it easy for me to determine placement on the gallery's walls while keeping the work protected."

Mark Rogers, founder and President of Frame Destination adds "GalleryPouch™ Gold fulfills a need voiced by many of our customers. We believe this product is perfect for our market segment, which includes galleries, photographers and other artists who need to protect and ship artwork for exhibitions, art shows and other events.”

Frame Destination’s online ordering system at http://www.FrameDestination.com includes a wide range of stock sizes, as well as custom sizes up to 50 x 156 inches. There is no minimum purchase and clients may request the bag opening to be on the long or short side. A dedicated website at http://www.GalleryPouch.com contains instructional videos, tips, and FAQs. Customers are invited to ask questions and share photos, videos and stories about their experiences with the product.
