Available in ranges from ±1° to ±90°, the LSO series offers resolution to 0.1 arc second (0.00003 degrees), with either ±5 VDC or 4-20 mA (closed loop) output, proportional to sine of the angle of tilt. Electrical terminations are via six-way connector or solder pins. LSO series inclinometers are also self-contained, and are able to connect to a DC power source and readout or control device, to form a complete operating system. These exceptionally rugged units are designed to withstand a 1500 g shock event, survive in temperatures of -40 to +70° C, and are environmentally sealed to IP65. Recommended accessories for use with the LSO series include optional mating connectors and a display indicator, both available from Sherborne Sensors.
Sherborne Sensors LSO series inclinometers have a long and successful market history under the Schaevitz® brand. Acquisition of this technology by Sherborne Sensors has allowed customers to benefit from the same exceptional product quality as its predecessors, with the added benefits of Sherborne’s extensive applications engineering support, global technical sales presence, repair, refurbishment and calibration services, stocking programs, and continuous product improvements.
