Agoura Hills, California – IR Services announces a contest for non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. For one eloquent non-profit during the holidays, the marketing and social media team of IR Services will create a complimentary social media marketing strategy and implement a two-to-three month campaign corresponding to the value of $2,500.
Social media has become the biggest marketing buzz in years. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, YouTube, and numerous other websites have become part of our everyday language. As a result, in order to remain competitive, companies and non-profits realize that they need to implement a social media strategy – but no single strategy fits all.
“While the current economy has impacted everyone, non-profits have had an especially hard time raising funds. As experts in the online space, we are experiencing the growth of social media firsthand, so it was a natural fit for us to offer our expertise to a deserving non-profit,”
Non-profits who wish to participate should submit an essay that answers the following question: “If Santa brought your non-profit a social media campaign as a holiday gift, what would you want it to accomplish in the short-term?” The essays cannot exceed 500 words but must provide specifics. The winner will be chosen based on the essay. Essays are to be submitted by December 10, 2009, via email to debbielaskey@
